Love Sonnet
This sonnet was written some time ago, during a highly romantic separation from my love. The years have gone on, and I have matured within the relationship. I have learned that distance, more often, is something beyond miles and time. Various forms of illness, grief, indifference, selfishness, and lack of forgiving make for all sorts of distance. It is, arguably, impossible to feel romantic at these times.
However it is truly inspiring when the bridges are crossed once more, and the longing to connect is rekindled. I wish everyone a very inspired, impassioned and romantic Valentine’s Day.

How much my soul longs to drink fully the depths of your eyes

How much my soul longs to drink fully the depths of your eyes,
And, my heart can but tremble at the thought of what within them lies.
My hours tread on devoted and ardent, and stray to the tasks of day.
Feasting on the beauty of flowers and the suns every ray.
My moments skip forward sequacious to the coming of gentle night
Stirring and resting within every star and each thread of moonlight.
Just as the light of these heavenly hosts relentlessly trace through the sky,
So too does the memory, touch and warmth of your ever beckoning eyes.
How much my soul does struggle to rest in all miles would disguise.
And my heart can not refrain from its every breath, love, and so sighs.
Alas, my entire being must hold these inner worlds deep where they entwine,
And grant the passing of these two outer worlds weary distance and time.
For How much my soul longs to drink fully the depths of your eyes,
and my heart can but tremble at the thought of what within them lies.

Bee Beautiful!
Admittedly, I have been overdue to post new photography images up. My photos are from hikes in nature. I use them to capture details on things. They simply have no desire in modeling for my artistic interest.

A tiny little bee has sure been the favorite of my small photography portfolio. I would love to know where else it is being used. So far I have been contacted by two foreign designers for use of the image in the conservation area. You can take a peek of the photo here: Bee on Dandelion

One for a Mexican conservation website. I am still waiting for more information from Patricia Fuentes.

The second and most excitingly for a German Magazine Naturfreundejugend Deutschlands (young nature friends of Germany). A quarterly publication for children. I can not wait to get my copy. Melanie, informs me the image is intended for use on a memory card game as part of the publication.

There is also an image of a Red Admiral Butterfly used in a photo manipulation artwork by Christian Zechner “Tranquillity”. The image truly fits its title. The original photo is here: Red Admiral on Dandelion

It is very thrilling for me to see inspiration and a love of nature radiating out, from just one simple photo shoot during a hike last spring. Simply inspiring all on its own.
